Lee 5-for-5 for Houston Friday, April 11th , 2025 Houston catcher Moon-soo Lee had a big day at Foley Field against the Georgia Bulldogs. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 8-4 Cougars triumph over Georgia. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Lee said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Moon-soo Lee hit a solo-shot off Josh Costanzo in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Pete Menefee in the 8th. Lee is currently batting .268 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs. |
