Tigers Brandon Jones Hurt Monday, May 10th , 2021 Clemson starting pitcher Brandon Jones suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Cardinals. According to club doctors Jones has ulnar nerve entrapment. Although Jones has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. Jones has gone 4-2 this season with an ERA of 1.09 and 58 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .218 against him. |
