Cowboys Steve Cripple to Miss Year Tuesday, April 18th , 2023 Steve Cripple will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Oklahoma State reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Cripple was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cowboys-Horned Frogs clash at Charlie and Marie Lupton Baseball Stadium and Williams-Reilly Field recently. Doctors said he has a damaged elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 13-14 months. So far, Cripple has earned no saves in 14 relief appearances. He has 13 strikeouts and 7 walks in 12.1 innings while registering a 1.46 ERA and a 2-0 won-lost record. |
