Rattlers Star Wins 2018 Pitcher of the Year Award Tuesday, June 12th , 2018 Tony Morales of the Reagan High School Rattlers had a fine season and has been rewarded with the ABA High School Pitcher of the Year Award for 2018. The Rattlers ace fashioned an ERA of 1.17 as he won 3 games, dropped 3, fanned 75 and gave up 15 walks in 54 innings of work. He received 44 first place votes out of a possible 56. Dusty Nelson of the Berkeley Prep High School Buccaneers finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Ryan Roeser of the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons finished third.
