Eagles Star Wins Pitcher of the Year Award

Andrew Braden is the latest ABA High School Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The Georgetown High School starter really shone on the hill time and again and finished 2020 with a sparkling 2-1 record.

In 8 starts, he fanned 54, walked 14 in 45.1 innings and posted a 1.59 ERA. Braden held opposing hitters to a .253 batting average.

He received 46 first place votes out of a possible 56. Mitch Wojciechowski of the Doral Academy Firebirds finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Adam Noland of the Sinton High School Pirates finished third with 1 first place vote.
