Eddie Winters Bashes Three over the Wall Saturday, April 27th , 2024 Trinity Christian Academy right fielder Eddie Winters led the Conquerors to a triumph, 9-3, over the Wesleyan High School Wolves, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Trinity Christian Academy skipper Nate Schiesl. Indeed, Winters put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 3 runs and 5 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Winters said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Eddie Winters struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Trevor Maynard in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Trevor Maynard in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Steve Pyburn in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. This season, Winters has hit at a .326 clip and produced 36 runs batted in, 15 home runs and 33 runs. |
