Jimmy Johnson Gets MVP Trophy

Jimmy Johnson took ABA High School by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 15.
For his spectacular campaign, the Cypress High School Centurions star has been named the 2022 ABA High School Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman.
On the season he compiled a .492 batting average to go with a .607 on-base percentage. The native of Anaheim, California also added 7 doubles, no triples, 11 home runs, 32 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
He received 33 first place votes out of a possible 64. Aaron Went of the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Harry Gentry of the Villa Park High School Spartans finished third with 16 first place votes.
