Skipper Santilli Cut by Patriots Thursday, May 31st , 2018 The winds of change have hit Lake Brantley High School. Many saw the news coming, but it still came as a bit of a surprise to the sports world when Troy Santilli was fired earlier today. The team cited "intellectual differences" as contributing to the decision but refused to go into details. The only thing that is clear right now is that the hunt is on for a new manager. "Troy was a top-notch manager, he just wasn't the right guy for our team and our situation right now," said a team official speaking on condition of anonymity. The Patriots spokesman indicated that Santilli had not been meeting goals set out for him by the team owner. "What's done is done," Santilli told reporters. "I'm just looking at my situation going forward, not backward. There's nothing I can change about the situation in Lake Brantley High School. I just have to focus on what's to come next in my future." |
