Cowboys Win Final Four Tuesday, May 22nd , 2018 Tommy Lowe sparked his Coppell High School Cowboys past the pesky Sinton High School Pirates in a closely-contested Final Four. Coppell High School topped Sinton High School 3-2 at Coppell ISD Baseball Complex to decide the series, 3-1 For his efforts, Lowe was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .357 batting average, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Lowe said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win." The Coppell High School Cowboys will play against the Doral Academy Firebirds in the next round. Doral Academy won their series against the North Oconee High School Titans 3 games to 1. The High School World Series schedule will be announced after the Final Four finishes. |
