It's Official -- Lubbock Cooper High School Fires Thurston as Manager Sunday, June 5th , 2022 When news broke over the firing of Brian Thurston, members of the Lubbock Cooper High School Pirates did not seem disappointed. One player who asked not to be named said, "It's been heading down this road for a while now. He lost the players, lost the coaches, and lost the fans." When pressed for an opinion on which direction the team should head in looking for a new manager, the same player suggested, "Someone players will listen to." Management could not be reached for comment. |
