5-for-6 Day for Santiago Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 De La Salle High School Spartans left fielder Mario Santiago went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Palo Alto High School Vikings for 5 hits to help De La Salle High School win, 15-14, over Palo Alto High School at Koch Baseball Diamond. Mario Santiago struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Unknown in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. For the year, Santiago has hit .420 with 15 home runs, 43 RBIs and scored 40 runs. |
