5-Hit Game for Cruthirds Tuesday, May 5th , 2026 A big day at bat for Tim Cruthirds of the Palo Alto High School Vikings still ended with a loss. The Palo Alto High School first baseman did all he could do, going 5-for-6, but it was not enough to overcome the De La Salle High School Spartans. They triumphed over Palo Alto High School, 15-14, at Koch Baseball Diamond. Tim Cruthirds hit a two-run home run off Earl Rushton in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Earl Rushton in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Hitting .333 to date, Cruthirds has 9 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 24 games. |
