Rattlers Cruise to Elite Eight with Sweep Sunday, May 13th , 2018 Andrew Ojacarcu said he expected the Sweet 16 to be "a battle from start to finish." In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Reagan High School Rattlers encountered little resistance in sweeping the Boerne High School Greyhounds, to advance to the Elite Eight. "It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Ojacarcu. Reagan High School won the final game by a 6-5 count and were led in the series by Ojacarcu, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .444 with 0 home runs. He also drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Reagan High School Rattlers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Coppell High School Cowboys - Saint Francis High School Lancers series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Elite Eight schedule will be announced after the Sweet 16 finishes. |
