Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Nixon Thursday, April 30th , 2026 Joe Nixon of the Keller High School Indians tagged 2 hits in today's 9-8 loss to the Franklin High School Wildcats at Keller High School Stadium to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Joe Nixon grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and singled in the 9th. At present, Nixon is batting .420 and has collected 13 home runs, 29 RBIs, .500 OBP and scored 38 runs. |
