Buccaneers Draper No-Hits Falcons Monday, April 27th , 2026 In a dominant outing, Paul Draper of the Allatoona High School Buccaneers totally silenced the bats of the Tompkins High School Falcons, finishing with a no-hitter. In the 10-0 victory, Draper faced only 28 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and no walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Allatoona High School manager Manny Ortega said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Geoff Lunstrum told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "simple" analysis of the game. "The Buccaneers had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Draper pitched a heck of a ballgame." So far this season, Draper has a 4-2 record with a 2.81 ERA. |
