Lambert Crushes 3 Homers Against Rockwall-Heath High School

Matt Lambert went yard three times in a American Heritage High School Patriots victory over the Rockwall-Heath High School Hawks at American Heritage Baseball Complex.
"I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit."
For the day, the American Heritage High School first baseman went 3-for-3 against Rockwall-Heath High School with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Patriots to the 11-6 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Matt Lambert hit a three-run home run off Vinny Cerbantes in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Vinny Cerbantes in the 2nd, walked in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off Mario Leon in the 6th.
This year, Lambert has hit at a .395 clip with 47 hits, 25 home runs, 40 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
