Allatoona High School Takes Sweet 16 in Deciding Game Thursday, May 14th , 2020 It took a while, but the Allatoona High School Buccaneers finally disposed of the Tompkins High School Falcons 2-0 in the series clincher at Obra D. Tompkins Field. Winning the finale gave the Buccaneers the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Elite Eight. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Allatoona High School right fielder Josh Keiser. He batted .700 in the series, collecting 4 RBIs and scoring 5 runs. The Allatoona High School Buccaneers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Saint Francis High School Lancers - Chiles High School Timberwolves series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Elite Eight schedule will be announced after the Sweet 16 finishes. |
