Saint Francis High School Wins Opening Round Monday, May 11th , 2020 ABA High School fans definitely got the battle they bargained for in this year's Opening Round. The Saint Francis High School Lancers have eliminated the Sinton High School Pirates in the final game, by a score of 3-2, to advance to the Sweet 16. Bill Clark was named series MVP and said he and his teammates are "fortunate and excited to have beaten a quality team like Sinton High School." For the series, Clark had a 0.00 ERA over 6 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Saint Francis High School Lancers will play against the Chiles High School Timberwolves in the next round. Chiles High School won their series against the Houston County High School Bears 2 games to 0. The Sweet 16 schedule will be announced after the Opening Round finishes. |
