Sinton High School's Hovinga to Miss 6 Months Monday, May 11th , 2020 Sinton High School reliever Bill Hovinga suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the Lancers. According to club doctors Hovinga has bone chips in his elbow. Although Hovinga has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. To date this year Hovinga has saved 2 games while tossing 13 innings. He has a 5.54 ERA, fanned 17 batters and made 11 relief appearances. |
