Johnson Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, April 1st , 2024 Grenada High School Matadors catcher Nate Johnson wielded a big stick against the Huntington Beach High School Oilers and his club walked off the field winners by the score of 12-11. Johnson helped tame Huntington Beach High School with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Nate Johnson singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Carton in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Johnson is batting at a .325 pace this season, picking up 13 hits in 40 at-bats with 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 11 runs scored. |
