Trojans Move on to Round 2 Sunday, May 15th , 2022 Fans of the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons groaned when Brett Meade stepped up to the plate in the Round 1. And for good reason too, as the Taravella High School Trojans player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Dragons. The series was clinched tonight at Southlake Carroll High School Stadium, with Taravella High School coming out on top 12-9 in the deciding game. Meade's strong series included a .333 batting average, with a .407 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Taravella High School Trojans don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the JSerra Catholic High School Lions - Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
