Eagles Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, May 5th , 2018 The mood in the Georgetown High School Eagles clubhouse was noticeably subdued today, as the club's fate on the season was officially sealed -- they will miss the postseason. "We put ourselves in this position," said Eagles starting pitcher Kevin Farris. "Nobody to blame but us." Before this season, the Eagles last missed the playoffs in 2015. In the 18 years they have been a ABA High School franchise, they have missed the playoffs 14 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Eagles have made the playoffs 4 times. |
