Goldbaek Smacks 5 Hits for Dragons Friday, May 13th , 2022 It was a big day for Mikkel Goldbaek and he brought the Southlake Carroll High School Dragons along for the ride. Goldbaek led his club to victory, 18-1, over the Taravella High School Trojans at Taravella High School Baseball Stadium, smoking Taravella High School pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 18-year-old second baseman later called the victory "sweet." Mikkel Goldbaek hit a two-run home run off Ricky Moreno in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Gearing in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Matt McAllister in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Goldbaek is hitting .255 for the season with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 153 at-bats and played in 38 games. |
