Calvary Christian High School Stops Koster Hit Streak Saturday, March 30th , 2024 The Spring Hill High School Panthers lost to the Calvary Christian High School Warriors, 7-5, at Spring Hill High School Baseball Complex, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Cory Koster's 20-game hitting streak. The first baseman went 0-for-3 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Koster, we would win the game," Warriors manager C.J. Sidney explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." For the year, Koster is batting .441 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
