London's Season Could be Over Monday, April 17th , 2023 The doctors have spoken and Chris London of the Coppell High School Cowboys didn't like what he heard. The 18-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. London sustained his season-ending injury during the Buford High School Wolves game yesterday at Coppell ISD Baseball Complex. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Coppell High School medical staff reported London had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 10 months. In 9 relief appearances this year, London has thrown 8.1 innings, struck out 10 and collected 5 saves. His won-lost record is 0-0 with a 2.16 ERA. |
