Wolves Cruise to Sweet 16 with Sweep Friday, May 10th , 2019 After their 5-0 win today at Jeff Rowland Baseball Complex over the Pope High School Greyhounds, the Wesleyan High School Wolves will advance to the Sweet 16. Wesleyan High School won the series by a 2-0 margin. Leading the way for the Wolves was left fielder Allan Black, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Wesleyan High School Wolves don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Allatoona High School Buccaneers - Saint Francis High School Lancers series. Saint Francis High School leads the series 1 game to 0. The Sweet 16 schedule will be announced after the Opening Round finishes. |
