Thompson Brilliant -- Fires No-Hitter Sunday, April 6th , 2025 Calvary Christian High School Warriors starter Jason Thompson came up big at Victory Field with an exceptional 15-0 win against the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors. Not only did he whip them, but Thompson held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Thompson. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Thompson collected 11 strikeouts and surrendered 5 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books. |
