Villarrel Strokes 3 HR Against Spring Hill High School Saturday, April 5th , 2025 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Cavalier Field buzzing, Lake Travis High School Cavaliers right fielder Andy Villarrel blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 5-2, over the Spring Hill High School Panthers. "Everything was clicking," Villarrel told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Villarrel shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Cavaliers manager Caleb Carrington said. "Andy played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Andy Villarrel grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kyle Myers in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Kyle Myers in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Tom Merritt in the 7th. For the season, Villarrel has hit .386 with 8 home runs and 19 RBIs. He has played in 14 games and scored 16 times. |
