Sanchez Given 3-Game Suspension Wednesday, May 5th , 2021 Eagles catcher Alfredo Sanchez will begin a 3-game suspension today for a confrontation with an umpire in a recent North Cobb Christian High School-Boerne High School clash. The league suspended him for "inappropriate and aggressive actions" toward an umpire. Sanchez profusely argued a third strike call and was eventually ejected by the home plate umpire. Thus far this year, Sanchez is batting .303 with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. |
