Jose Leos Injured, Out for Year
Wednesday, April 12th , 2023
Cartersville High School catcher Jose Leos could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn posterior cruciate ligament. He exited yesterday's Lake Brantley High School game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Leos would be out 10 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Leos is batting at a .354 pace this season, picking up 29 hits in 82 at-bats with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
