Matadors Jim Richardson to Miss Year Monday, April 10th , 2023 Jim Richardson of the Matadors just might have to call it quits for the season. The 16-year-old Grenada High School reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Clayton Valley Charter High School Eagles recently at Parrots Grounds. Richardson suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch. The Matadors medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year, his season stats show Richardson has no saves in 7 relief appearances with a 1-0 record and 4.32 ERA. |
