IMG Academy Won't Make Playoffs Monday, May 3rd , 2021 Looking at the bigger picture, Pedro Recinos of the IMG Academy Ascenders said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2021 season. IMG Academy last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 16 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Ascenders have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
