Spartans Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, May 5th , 2019 The De La Salle High School Spartans may feel they were as good as the playoff teams this year, but the club has ultimately fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. "It's frustrating because we really feel like we could have given any of the teams a run for their money," said reliever Norm Biel. The Spartans had a streak of 5 straight playoff appearances before this year. In the 19 years they have been a ABA High School franchise, they have made the playoffs 5 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Spartans have made the playoffs 5 times. |
