Dale Johnson Lost for Season Saturday, May 4th , 2019 When Dale Johnson was hurt against the De La Salle High School Spartans, the Boerne High School Greyhounds were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 17-year-old starting pitcher suffered a fractured elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Johnson would miss 6-7 months of the season. Johnson has made 2 starts, tossed 27 innings, struck out 25 batters and walked 16. His record is 0-2 with a 5.33 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .255 batting average. |
