Jackson Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Sunday, May 2nd , 2021 Mike Jackson of the Notre Dame High School Knights extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 4 hits in today's 9-7 triumph over the Cartersville High School Hurricanes at River Cats Grounds. "Mike has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Knights manager Bert Vega joked after the game. Mike Jackson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. This season, Jackson is batting .410 with 12 home runs. His totals include 27 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
