Cruthirds Rips 3 HR Sunday, April 9th , 2023 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Palo Alto High School Stadium buzzing, Palo Alto High School Vikings first baseman Tim Cruthirds blasted a trio of home runs en route to a win, 5-4, over the De La Salle High School Spartans. "Everything was clicking," Cruthirds told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Cruthirds shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Vikings manager Larry Bears said. "Tim played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." Tim Cruthirds hit a two-run home run off Josh Lange in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Josh Lange in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Josh Lange in the 5th and walked in the 7th. So far this year, Cruthirds is batting .456 with 10 home runs. |
