Cardinal Gibbons High School Loses DeLong for Year Sunday, April 9th , 2023 The Cardinal Gibbons High School Chiefs were dealt a blow today when reliever Dennis DeLong left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that DeLong has suffered shoulder inflammation and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. To this point in the season, DeLong has put up these figures: 1-0 record, 11 relief appearances with 10.1 innings, no saves, 4 strikeouts, 6 walks and a 4.35 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .300 batting average. |
