North Oconee High School Captures High School Baseball League Georgia High School Association Crown Wednesday, May 1st , 2019 The North Oconee High School Titans are champions of the High School Baseball League Georgia High School Association, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the High School World Series," said reliever Micah Weidner. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in North Oconee High School." The club's record currently sits at 25-11. It is the team's 3rd division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 2nd ABA High School championship. Team manager Ben McGuire said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
