Allen Hitless, Stopped by Timberwolves Tuesday, April 4th , 2023 After 21 games, St. Johns Country Day High School first baseman Jason Allen saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Spartans still managed to take the win, topping the Chiles High School Timberwolves, 7-3, at Chiles High School Baseball Field. "It was a good run," Allen said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." Allen is batting .339 this year with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 56 at-bats. |
