Thurston Slams 5 Hits for Franklin High School Sunday, April 25th , 2021 Justin Thurston really sizzled at the plate in his team's 8-4 win over the Boerne High School Greyhounds. The Franklin High School first baseman blistered Boerne High School for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Thurston was too tough to get out today," the Greyhounds skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Justin Thurston singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Garrett Fellenz in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season, Thurston is batting .382 with 8 home runs. |
