Season Possibly Over for Mike Jones Sunday, April 25th , 2021 A blow for Mike Jones today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a bone spur in his elbow. Jones suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Woodstock High School Wolverines are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Jones's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Checking out his stats for the season, Jones has racked up 2 wins and 1 loss in 5 starts, posted a 4.50 ERA, and struck out 28 batters in 26 innings. |
