Lint Strokes 5 Hits Friday, April 23rd , 2021 Some days you can't win for losing. Just ask Mike Lint -- he was the King of Swing against the Rattlers, but his Oilers were beaten, 11-9, anyway. The Huntington Beach High School first baseman had 6 chances against Reagan High School and delivered 5 hits in a sensational game. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt great to be hitting like that, but a downer when you look at the scoreboard. 5-for-6 does wonders for your confidence, but it's a shame we couldn't win, too." Mike Lint hit a solo-shot off Ken Hicks in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year, Lint is batting .328 with 9 home runs. |
