Allan 5-for-5 for Villa Park High School Friday, March 31st , 2023 It was a sensational day at the plate for Chris Allan as he led the charge to a nifty 7-3 win over the Patriots. The Villa Park High School right fielder was pure misery for the Pace High School pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Allan put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Billy Stamey, manager for the Patriots, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Chris Allan doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jared Fryman in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. This year, Allan has 5 home runs and a .391 batting average. |
