Red-Hot Magliaro Scorches Greyhounds Friday, March 31st , 2023 Cory Magliaro did all he could with his bat, but it just wasn't enough for the Taravella High School Trojans to pull out a victory. The 14-year-old first baseman rapped out 5 hits in the game, but the Trojans could not overcome the Pope High School Greyhounds. Taravella High School lost the game, 10-6, at Jeff Rowland Baseball Complex. Cory Magliaro hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chris Ferrell in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. In his season totals, Magliaro has 7 home runs, .447 BA, .509 OBP, 21 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has played in 11 games. |
