Hits Galore: Lint Drills 5 Hits Sunday, April 21st , 2019 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Mike Lint of the Huntington Beach High School Oilers had one of those moments when he went 5-for-5 at the plate today in the 16-6 win over the Lubbock Cooper High School Pirates at Dreamfield. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 15-year-old first baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Mike Lint singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th. This year Lint is hitting .312 with 6 home runs. |
