Steinmetz Joins 3-HR Club Wednesday, March 27th , 2024 Buford High School first baseman Adam Steinmetz led the Wolves to a triumph, 9-7, over the Buchanan High School Bears, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Buford High School skipper Bill Foster. Indeed, Steinmetz put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs and 3 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Steinmetz said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em." Adam Steinmetz hit a solo-shot off Chris Page in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Chris Page in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Keith Walton in the 9th. In the 2024 season Steinmetz is hitting .414 with 6 home runs. |
