Oilers Are Champs of High School Baseball League California Interscholastics Federation Friday, May 6th , 2022 Prognosticators had a difficult time handicapping the High School Baseball League California Interscholastics Federation this year. And thus, it should come as no surprise that the division title hung in the balance late into the season. In the end, the Huntington Beach High School Oilers have reigned supreme and captured the franchise's 6th division crown. "Hopefully there are more celebrations to come," said center fielder Jose Martinez. "We could get used to this." The club currently has a 29-11 record and will be seeking the 1st championship in franchise history. "I believe in this group and I think our best is yet to come," said manager Nick Roach. |
