Houston County High School Out of Playoff Race Thursday, May 5th , 2022 Houston County High School Bears catcher Alejandro Perez said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2022 postseason contention. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2020. In total, the Bears have missed the playoffs 15 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Bears have made the playoffs 5 times. |
