Eagles John Wiltzius to Miss Year Sunday, April 12th , 2026 Mount Paran Christian High School starting pitcher John Wiltzius could miss the remainder of the season because of a bone spur in his elbow. He exited yesterday's Cypress High School game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Wiltzius would be out 4-5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." For the season, Wiltzius has logged no wins and 1 loss and struck out 22 batters in 20.1 innings while compiling a 3.98 ERA. |
