Marauders Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, May 4th , 2022 That they came exceptionally close to qualifying for the playoffs will likely provide little solace for fans of the Marcus High School Marauders -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "I don't expect the fans to be happy with us," said Marauders first baseman Jesus Jimenez. "We're not happy with ourselves." This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2019. In total, the Marauders have missed the playoffs 8 times in their 11-year history. |
